IAN THORPE
Director
Ian is Principle Director of Concept Structural Design Ltd. He qualified as a Chartered Structural Engineer in 2000 and is a member of the Institute of Structural Engineers.
Prior to forming Concept Structural Design Ian was an Associate with a Consulting Engineers where he designed and managed multi-million-pound schemes. He started his own successful design business in 2012, and developed this over the last 13 years, developing strong relationships with private clients and local council authorities.
Ian is co-founder of Concept Architecture & Structural Design and brings a wealth of experience and client focus into the multi discipline team, particularly an understanding of practical and innovative structural design solutions.

JASON WALLS
Director
Jason is the principle Director of Concept Architecture and Planning Ltd. Jason has over 30 years experience in building construction whilst also gaining ONC and HNC in building studies.
Prior to forming Concept Architecture and Planning Ltd, Jason was an Associate with Bland and Swift Ltd where he designed, detailed and managed multi-million pound schemes. He started his own successful business in 2017, and developed this over the last 8 years, completing planning and building regulation applications alongside structural calculations.
Jason is co-founder of Concept Architecture & Structural Design and also brings a wealth of experience and client focus into the multi discipline team, with the knowledge of completing design and detailed drawings from concept to completion of projects liaising with local building control and planning authorities.

HARRY HUNTER
Architectural Technologist
A recent graduate, Harry is the winner of both the CIAT Student Prize and Peter Stead Award, the latter awarded by the Huddersfield Civic Society in recognition of his research into Passive House.
Following university, Harry worked as an architectural technologist for an architectural firm that delivered multi-mullion pound projects, ranging from student accommodations to city centre community hubs.
Whilst working for Concept Architecture & Structural Design Ltd. Harry has been the lead for multiple residential projects, leading them through conception to completion on site.
In the commercial sector Harry has developed design projects from initial site surveys up to and including the technical design stage, working alongside and communicating efficiently with other members of the construction team.
Harry has multiple years of experience using 3D BIM software producing outputs that help clients visualise the end goal of projects.
